Interministerial Commission for the Coordination of the Peripheral Administration of the State (CICAPE)

The interministerial commission for the coordination of the Peripheral Administration of the State (CICAPE) aims at coordinating the actions of the Peripheral Administration of the State with the various Ministerial departments.

CICAPE has the following functions:

  • Improving the coordination of actions of the Peripheral Administration of the State with ministerial departments and, where appropriate, with their public podies.
  • Enhancing communication and exchange of information between the Peripheral Administration of the State and ministries and their public bodies.
  • Proposing general criteria and main lines of actions of the Peripheral Administration of the State regarding their relation with other public administrations.
  • Issuing reports, as requested by the competent bodies, in connection with the draft documents in the field of the Peripheral Administration of the State.
  • Establishing channels of information regarding the actions and projects to be developed by the ministerial departments and their public bodies, in the area of the Peripheral Administration of the State.
  • All functions required to achieve the overall objective of coordination of the Peripheral Administration of the State.
